PC cooling outfit Arctic reverses tariff-era price hikes after US government refund — lowers prices across lineup, including coolers and case fans

Following a tariff refund from the United States government, popular PC cooling hardware manufacturer Arctic has announced a price rollback for its products sold in the U.S. The refund was made possible after a February 2026 Supreme Court ruling found that the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not grant the President unilateral authority to impose import duties without prior approval from Congress.

The reduced price will be applicable across Arctic’s direct-to-consumer sales channels in the U.S. and is claimed to be already in effect on Amazon and eBay. In its latest blog post, Arctic said, “When U.S. trade tariffs significantly increased, Arctic proactively absorbed as much of the tariffs as possible to protect our customers. While most of the product lineup remained unaffected, price adjustments became necessary for a limited number of products in the U.S. market. At the time, Arctic committed to reversing those increases if circumstances allowed. “

Notably, the company isn’t limiting price reductions only to the products that were affected by tariffs. Instead, it’s using the refunded tariff money to lower prices across its entire U.S. product lineup. We did a quick price check on Amazon and found that a range of Arctic PC cooling products have indeed dropped in price. For example, the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360mm AIO liquid cooler has fallen to an all-time low of $69.89, its lowest price ever since it launched in the first half of 2025. In our testing, we were impressed by its chart-topping performance even when it retailed for $125.

In addition to the price rollback, the company says that it is investing in community initiatives that support technology education and grassroots PC communities in the United States through hardware donations and technical support.

With this announcement, Arctic has become one of the first PC hardware manufacturers to publicly reverse tariff-related price increases following the landmark Supreme Court judgement. While it remains to be seen whether other component and peripheral makers will follow suit, the move will definitely put pressure on brands that previously cited tariffs as a reason for raising prices in the U.S.
