Here’s Everything Announced During Nintendo’s 2026 Summer Direct Presentation From The Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake To Deltarune Chapter 5 And More

With Nintendo’s Direct Presentation this morning, an argument can be made that Summer Game Fest 2026 has officially concluded. We can all take a breath and maybe a nap as we dream of all the games we will be playing later this year (mostly in September) and next year.

Every Game Shown During The 2026 Nintendo Direct Presentation
Below, we’ll list each game in the order they appeared during the show, along with key details you need to know and their trailers.
Rhythm Heaven Groove
- Launches July 2 for Switch (but is playable on Switch 2).
- The trailer showcases new games, co-op, and an RPG-inspired mode.
Onimiusha: Way of the Sword
- The Onimusha sequel is coming to Switch 2 on September 25
- Optional motion controls will be available exclusively for the Switch 2 version of the game.
Dragons Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
- Dark Arisen is coming to Switch 2 on October 9.
Stellar Blade
- Stellar Blade is coming to Switch 2 later this year.
- Optional motion controls will be available exclusively for the Switch 2 version of the game.
Orbitals
- The local co-op sanime inspired space adventure game launches September 3.
Rayman Legends Retold
- Ubisoft’s remake of arguably the best Wii U game made by a developer not called Nintendo is coming to Switch 2 October 1.
- The revamped Kung Foot multiplayer mode can be played using GameShare locally and online
Big Walk
- The co-op adventure game is coming to Switch 2 on August 4.
One Piece: Grand Gourmet
- As opposed to pirating and adventuring, players will manage a restaurant in this pixelated management sim based on the popular anime and manga.
- You will be able to optionally use mouse controls.
- One Piece: Grand Gourmet launches on Switch and Switch 2 October 23.
Pokémon Pokopia Expansions
- A free update will let players explore underwater.
- Paid Expansion Pass DLC is also planned and will add three expansions. The first, Bubble Basin, launches in August.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave
- Fortune’s Weave introduces the protagonist Cai who is trying to save his imprisoned father.
- The next Fire Emblem launches September 17.
Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet
- The Uncharted Planet is the first chapter of a two-part saga.
- The sequel is a Switch 2 exclusive and launches Spring 2027.
DK Challenge Event
- Starting June 9, players can play an assortment of Donkey Kong games to complete various challenges to unlock bonuses.
Donkey Kong Bananza Mario Content
- Various Mario-themed costumes and themes have been added to Donkey Kong Bananza’s DLC content today.
JuJutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton
- Survivaton is a Vampire Survivors-style game from the makers of Vampire Survivors that is JuJutsu Kaisen-themed.
- It is coming to Switch 2 in 2026.
Lords Of The Fallen II
- The soulslike action game is coming to Switch 2 Fall 2026.
Lies of P: Complete Edition
- The soulslike action game is coming to Switch 2 August 6.
- The Overture expansion will be included.
Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition
- The 2019 action game is getting ported to Switch 2 and will run in 60 FPS in both docked and handheld mode.
- The game releases June 23.
Muramasa: Revenant Blades
- Vanillaware’s 2009 action game, which only released on Wii and Vita is getting ported to Switch and Switch 2.
- Originally titled Muramasa: The Demon Blade, the Switch 2 version is called Muramasa: Revenant Blades.
- This port will have improved 4K visuals, new game modes, added English voice acting, improved localization, and more.
- The game releases early 2027.
Xenoblade Chronicles 1, 2 and 3 Switch 2 Enhanced Editions
- All three Xenoblade Chronicles games are coming to Switch 2 with various visual and gameplay improvements.
- Xenbolade Chronicles 1 is available today for Switch 2 and adds high-speed vehicles for navigate=ing the environment.
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be available digitally July 30 and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 releases digitally December 4. Physical versions of all the games will be available at later dates.
Xenoblade Genesis
- Xenoblade Genesis is a brand new Xenoblade game and is a new beginning for the series.
- Xenoblade Genesis launches in 2027 for Switch 2.
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort
- The latest Nintendo motion control sports game will include Boxing, Table Tennis, Archery, Tennis, Volleyball, Bowling, Basketball, Golf, Thumb Wrestling, Jump Rope, Skateboarding, Power Cruising, and Prop Plan flying.
- The game still takes place on Wuhu Island.
- The game launches on Switch 2 October 22.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds
- The next RuneScape launches on Switch 2 September 15.
Hello Kitty Party Land
- The game will feature 40 minigames and board games and feature Sanrio cahracters.
- The game launches exclusively on Switch and Switch 2 on October 29.
Star Fox
- A free demo for Star Fox will be available later today featuring the game’s tutorial and one of the first levels.
- Star Fox launches June 25 on Switch 2.
Final Fantasy Resonance
- Resonance is a new HD-2D Final Fantasy game.
- The game is an adaptation (but not a port) of the story and world from the first arc of Brave Exvius, a Final Fantasy-themed mobile game that was shuttered last year
- Final Fantasy Resonance releases on Switch 2 October 22.
Pikuniku 2
- A sequel to the goofy puzzle game is coming to Switch 2 next year,
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World
- The Withered World is the next entry in the Dragon Quest Monsters series.
- The game is coming to Switch and Switch 2 December 3.
The Duskbloods
- The Switch 2-exclusive From Software game is getting a closed network test this Summer.
- It is still set to launch later this year.
Splatoon Raiders
- The single-player Splatoon Raiders is coming to Switch 2 July 23.
- There will be a Direct with more info on June 30.
- Splatoon Raiders-themed Joy-Con 2 controllers are coming soon.
Deltarune: Chapter 5
- The next chapter, chapter 5, in the Deltarune saga releases on June 24.
Metaphor: ReFantazio
- Metaphor: ReFantazio, the Atlus RPG from the makers of the Persona series is coming to Switch 2 on November 12.
Minecraft
- Minecraft is coming to Switch 2 with all the content from the Switch version of the game (like the Mario biomes) and improved visuals.
- Save content from the Switch version of Minecraft will work for the Switch 2 version.
- Minecraft is coming to Switch 2 later this year.

- Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & The Guide Of Memories is coming to Switch 2 early 2027.
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is coming to Switch 2 holiday 2026.
- Observer: System Redux is coming to Switch 2 June 18.
- DayZ is coming to Switch 2 in 2026.
- Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is coming to Switch 2 August 27.
- Rise of the Tomb Raider is available for Switch 2 today.
- Tales of Eternia Remastered is coming to Switch 2 October 16.

Kingdom Hearts Collection I-III For Switch 2
- This new Switch 2 collection includes Kingdom Hearts – HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC.
- Kingdom Hearts Collection I-III For Switch 2 releases Oct. 8. Owners of the Switch 1 cloud version can purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 version at a discount.
- A demo of Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC will be available later on Switch 2.
Kingdom Hearts IV
- Nintendo aired a new Kingdom Hearts IV gameplay trailer during its Direct Presentation.
- The game will coming to Switch 2 alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but we still don’t know when.
The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake
- The long-rumored remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is officially real.
- The brief footage shown of the game showed Link in the game’s new visuals asleep in his home in Kokiri Forrest, which is how the original Ocarina of Time begins.
- In a press release Nintendo simply wrote, “The Nintendo 64 classic returns for a new generation in 2026, reborn exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2!”
- Nintendo did not reveal a release date, but offered a 2026 window.
