Microsoft killed my OptiPlex with Windows 11, so I gave it a better job instead

I grew up in the arcade era, when the best games weren’t sitting on a TV stand or buried in a digital library. They were in pizza shops, bowling alleys, mall arcades, and movie theater lobbies. I spent a lot of time around those machines, and over the years I’ve owned more than a few arcade games and pinball machines myself. So when I had an aging Dell OptiPlex 9020 sitting around, I didn’t see a useless old office PC. I saw the heart of an old-school arcade cabinet.
